The heart of LH Kids is to create opportunities for kids to meet Jesus, to build a biblical foundation for their lives, and to have fun while doing it.

SUNDAYS WITH LH KIDS

LH Kids is offered at our 9 and 11 AM services for ages 3 months to 5th grade. We can’t wait to see your child on Sunday!

WHAT TO EXPECT

Our team will be waiting at the new families check-in station where you can tell us a little about your family. To prepare ahead of time, you can fill out the First Time Families Form. We encourage you to arrive about 30 minutes prior to the service you attend, especially if you’re a first-time guest. In an effort to avoid congestion and to keep safety a top priority, one parent per family will be permitted to drop off and pick up in LH Kids. Looking forward to seeing you!

"LET THE CHILDREN COME TO ME, AND DO NOT HINDER THEM, FOR THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN BELONGS TO SUCH AS THESE" MATTHEW 19:14

The Chamberlin Family

When my husband and I were looking for a home church earlier this year, we wanted to find a place that had Kids Ministry. I remember visiting one church that didn’t even have a room for me to get my 1 and 1/2 yr old son quiet, change his diaper, or give him a snack during service. So I took him to the car, and I balled my eyes out feeling hopeless because the pandemic regulations were preventing us from finding a church home –  until we found Lighthouse. Our now 2yr old is enjoying LH Kids so much he’s started talking about going to church during his play at home. I’m deeply grateful for this ministry, for the spiritual deposits his teachers are leaving in him, and for partnering with my husband and me to train our son in the things of God. Dropping my son off in LH Kids gives me a chance to sit in service with my husband and connect with God guilt-free. That hour and 1/2 is my spiritual reset for the entire week. Thank you, LH Kids, for impacting our little family!

The Gruendl Family

Liz and Delaney were such a blessing to our family during the COVID days. I’m SO thankful to you both for your endless and tireless efforts in pouring into my five kids while everything was shut down. I know your job continues in huge ways as things reopen. Your job really matters, and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for making LH Kids so fun!

The Chester Family

I want to give a shout out to LH Kids. I’m sure you guys hear enough grief about not having kids church for more services or selling out tickets too quickly, but I want to tell you of the difference you make in my baby’s life. Some time ago, I brought my 3-year-old to church on Langley Road, and he was terrified. The first person to greet him, not me or my husband but my 3-year-old, was Mr. Victor Smith. He walked right up to him with his fist out to “pound it.” My Noah looked at him and clung to me. Mr. Victor looked at him and said, “We’re gonna be friends.” Each week he would find us to make sure to say hi to Noah, and as time went on, Noah was more comfortable with him and would give him a fist pump. Five years later, he still remembers Noah and looks for him to say hello, and my Noah has never forgotten him. My boy is eight years old. He loves Jesus and loves going to church. I set my alarm each Sunday to make sure to get tickets for kids’ church before they are sold out. He also loves Legos; he tells me Legos are his love language. He came home from church and insisted on building something special for Easter. He built the cross and the tomb, complete with a rolling stone. He explained the entire story to me and told me how important everything was. We have taught him about Jesus since birth, and he has attended LH Kids church his whole life. My boy loves Jesus. Thank you for contributing to the life and soul of my baby; you are doing important things!
